Desde que se estrenó la película El resplandor (The shining, Stanley Kubrick, 1980) la imagen del laberinto del Hotel Overlook se ha instalado en mi mente y puedo decir que no concibo otro laberinto posible. Entre sus angostos corredores Danny es perseguido por la locura de Jack Torrance, su padre. Como un espejo geométrico, el propio laberinto devuelve el reflejo de la pesadilla que se vive en el hotel. En mi versión, absolutamente fiel al de la película en su trazado, viven mis muy queridos espectros, que tras quemarse el hotel (ocurre en la novela de Stephen King) quedaron un poco más perdidos, si cabe. Yo les acogo con gusto.
Since the film The shining premiered (Stanley Kubrick, 1980) the image of the labyrinth of the Overlook Hotel installed in my mind and I can not imagine another possible maze.
